Peak experiences have been described as sudden feelings of profound happiness and well-being, or those moments at which you become aware of some deeper truth, such as the unity and interconnectedness of all things, or an understanding of your own relationship with the world.
Abraham Maslow described these moments as self-justifying, self-validating events that possessed intrinsic value—and he felt all individuals had the ability to experience them. Have you experienced something like this? Some people have found these moments while hiking, or out in nature; others when gazing at their children or grandchildren; others while merely engaged in the miracle of the day-to-day. What about you?
